SENIOR AUDITOR - INFORMATION SYSTEMS Position DescriptionThis position is responsible to plan, organize, control and complete information system reviews, testing of key financial controls and advisory projects as outlined in the audit work plan. Specific duties and responsibilities include: Conduct Audits: Plan, organize and conduct information system controls reviews. Accountable for researching, developing risk-based audit program, timelines, data analytics and fieldwork, maintaining a high level of quality. Analyze Results and Reporting: Summarize and analyze audit findings, formulate recommendations in a report format, prepare the annual audit plan summary, and communicate findings to management. Participate in the completion of Department, Team and Personal Professional Development Goals.Monitor corrective actions for resolution. Determine impact on status of open deficiencies and remedial action plans. Adjust plans accordingly based on information determined. Develop and maintain audit tools appropriate for testing controls, performing risk based audits and providing advisory services.Provide advisory services related to system implementations and appropriate controls. Direct and oversee audit projects and assist staff in the preparation and delivery of the audit reports. Ensure adequate organization and retention of documents related to audits.Establish positive working relationships with management to provide input on risks and controls and ensure a sustained understanding of compliance and internal control requirements while maintaining independence and objectivity.Provide support or project management for related audit initiatives as directed by the Associate Compliance Director.Other projects and duties as assigned.EducationBachelor degree in Information Systems related curriculum, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field is required. Required ExperienceFive years of experience in internal audit or compliance auditing.Preferred ExperienceCertified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or the ability to obtain this within 12 months of hire; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred or other auditing certifications.
