PRIMARY FUNCTIONResponsible for PROCESS and EXECUTION at the category level of the visual strategy translation into a presentation that is unified with other areas of the store, brand right and guest focused that drives sales and delivers our financial goas for a specified business.

Partnerships will include Mangers and BP's of:

Merchandising, Product Design and Development (PD&D), Marketing, Store/Fixture design and Merchandise Presentation Division (MPD), Store Operations

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supports Visual Merchandise leaders to develop the visual merchandising strategy and brand presentation standards for specific business and / or space.  Supports preparation for milestone meetings and leadership walk-throughs.

2. Lead development and execution of visual concepts for each season and merchant initiative based on Visual Merch Roadmap.  

3. Develop store communication in partnership with cross functional partners

4. Drive analysis of competition, prototype versioning and space densification at the category level.

5. Supports Visual Merchandising leadership in preparation for Senior Leadership alignment walk-throughs

6. Where appropriate attends development meetings to represent Visual Merchandising point-of-view

7. Participate in cross-functional team projects as assigned

8. Identifies and participates in training and development opportunities designed to improve professional skills and personal growth

9. Travel as necessary to review in-store execution and identify opportunities

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports to Director, Visual Merchandising or Sr Visual Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 4 year college degree in Visual Merchandising, Art, Design, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.

• 1-2 years of visual merchandising experience.

• Proven visual merchandising (In addition to interviews, external candidates will be required to submit to a portfolio review)

• Cultural awareness, competitive analysis, and knowledge and understanding of current trends.

• Excellent communicator with presentation, project management and organization skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite

• Must be willing to work on your feet and capable of lifting (boxes, mannequins or other) as heavy as 50 lbs.
