Humera has a Full Time contract or contract to hire assignment available for a Accounting Manager position with our client in Coon Rapids. Our client is a leading provider in healthcare, providing customized services for seniors and the community.

This position reports to the Director of Finance/Accounting, and will mentor a staff of 9 that includes: AR, AP, Cash Flow, Fixed Asset Accounting, Day-to- Day Accounting, and Financial Reporting.


This position will ensure the following:
  • Process improvement of the accounting function produces expected results
  • General ledger accounts are reconciled on a routine basis
  • Reporting is accurate and meets the needs of outside stakeholders
  • Cash flow is maximized to meet the needs of the company
  • Staff have the resources they need to succeed.
This position will possess the necessary skills to:
  • Develop & improve the automated accounting systems, controls, and procedures
  • Respond timely to inquiries regarding accounting policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and outside stakeholders
  • Ensure necessary follow-up and issue resolution
  • Provide support and guidance to the accounting team

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3 to 5 year's professional accounting experience in a lead and/or supervisory capacity
  • Proficient in excel, including formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Can do attitude
