JOIN US AS A BUSINESS INTEGRATION LEAD - Corporate Social Responsibility As a Business Integration Lead, you will be responsible for serving as the expert in developing strategies for Target that create impact in 2-3 material environmental/social issues. Design, manage and measure key programs and initiatives across the business. Responsible for building internal and external relationships, improving the company's reputation on prioritized issues and using creative and innovative solutions to drive impactRESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop expertise on prioritized environmental and social issues, including their material impacts on Target
  • Work with business partners driving/impacted by assigned issues to develop goals and strategic plans for how Target can create impact
  • Secure partner commitment for integrating sustainable business approaches/practices into core processes, operations and business decision-making
  • Implement programs, projects and initiatives with appropriate internal partners that support Target's ability to achieve goals
  • Translate appropriate business decisions and initiatives to understand impact on prioritized issues
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert by informing internal and external stakeholders about best practices and trends across issue areas
  • Lead cross-functional teams/initiatives that have material impact on environmental and social sustainability efforts by gaining buy-in from senior leadership, alignment with teams and clarity on success metrics
  • Responsible for developing measurement plans and measuring all initiatives, in partnership with the M&E team 
  • Partner with business teams to help determine data management and systems development requirements for reporting and KPI frameworks
  • Ensure systems are designed, developed, and used with the ability to support Target's CSR goals by appropriately tracking, storing, and reporting on accurate business data
  • Lead project teams to complete projects and initiatives
  • Establish and ensure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance metrics
  • Partner with CSR teams to ensure that stories are told, guest and team member engagement initiatives built and implemented effectively, and complementary philanthropic programming/portfolios are aligned 
 REQUIREMENTS
  • B.A. in relevant field (4 years)
  • At least 10-12 years business experience or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of social and environmental issues and stakeholder landscapes
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and out-side of the box thinking skills - connecting dots and translating ideas into action
  • Strong ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships at multiple levels and lead cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate and engage with external partners (e.g., NGOs, trade associations and other business organizations)
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies against one or more societal issue
  • Successful experience in identifying, cultivating and growing high-profile partnerships, experience with public-private partnerships a plus
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, planning, and project management experience and ability to work independently, including the ability to multi-task and manage demands and/or projects simultaneously 
  • Ability to present strategy and plans to internal partners at various levels including Sr. leadership
  • Proven ability to understand and simplify deep technical information for business teams 
  • Strong leadership skills and good team player
