Pro Staff is hiring a Help Desk Technician for our client company in Brandon! In this role, you’ll provide technical support to business and residential customers, with the following core responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, electronically, or in person
  • Communicate effectively andrespectfullywithallcustomers
  • Document all help desk interactions within our ticketing system
  • Follow standard help desk procedures
  • Ability to troubleshoot fixed wireless, DSL,fiber optic,voice and video services
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Advise users on appropriate actions
  • Follow up on troublesto ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify and escalate troubles requiring urgent attention
  • Inform management of recurring problems
  • Stay current with technology information, changes and updates
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Hours are  8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri. Pay depends on experience. 


  • One or more years of customer service experience
  • FamiliarityofvariousInternet and email software and services
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN management, computer and network security
  • Knowledge offixed wireless, DSL, fiber optic, voice and video services
  • AASDegree inComputer& Voice Networking, or equivalent of 1-2 years prior help desk experience preferred
