As a Residential Registered Nurse , you will:

  • Assess and monitor daily functioning of residents and assist with symptom management
  • Plan/facilitate assigned health and wellness groups with residents
  • Complete full nursing assessments upon admission and necessary discharge planning as required in residential programing
  • Effectively track and communicate pertinent medical information both verbally and through written documentation
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and refilling medication
  • Partner with the entire residential team to provide a therapeutic environment for clients
  • Provide basic counseling and assist clients in daily skills practice
  • Provide crisis intervention
    • May include de-escalation and safety holds
  • Participate in treatment planning for clients through observation, therapeutic intervention, and providing feedback and evaluation regarding client progress

*part time (0.5) position. Wednesday 12p-5p, Thursday and Friday 9:00am -5:00pm with some coverage for other PTO/sick calls expected*


  • Current RN license in the State of Minnesota
  • Knowledgeable of and ability to following the Nurse Practice Act
  • Oriented and educated in gender, culture, and age appropriate mental health care
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to make safe judgement calls in stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and nonverbally
  • Basic computer skill using Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
