Minnkota Power Cooperative is seeking applicants for an Electrical Engineer within the Power Delivery Planning group responsible for:
- Performing power system studies of existing and proposed generation and transmission facilities using power flow, short circuit, and dynamic stability analysis techniques.
- Writing study reports and making verbal presentations of study results.
- Supporting queue and tariff processes for interconnection and delivery service requests.
- Supporting and serving on internal and external committees, task forces, and working groups.
Position requires, at minimum, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and EIT certification. Experience in transmission and interconnection issues and experience with PSS/E analysis software, knowledge of NERC reliability standards and transmission tariffs are a plus.
