The Duluth Housing and Redevelopment Authority is seeking a Deputy Director. The Duluth HRA oversees 1,154 units of public housing, 1,477 rental subsidy vouchers, and manages 257 units of tax credit housing. This executive position reports to the Executive Director and provides direct oversight of the housing operations and general operations of the Authority. The Deputy Director will work with owned and managed housing, take the lead in tax credit management and compliance, assist with various components of redevelopment initiatives, direct HR activities, and provide input into planning and policy development.
The successful candidate will have a leadership style that values the input of his/her team, is able to think strategically for long term planning, and is able to accurately handle daily operational details. Along with supervisory experience in a medium to large organization, this candidate will also possess significant experience in property management, asset management, tax credit compliance or similar housing work.
