A client of ours in Savage, MN is looking for people with experience in electronic and mechanical assembly. One year of experience is required, 2-3 years of experience is preferred. This is a first shift opportunity with lots of overtime eligibility! The current hours for this position are 6am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and 6am-2pm on Saturdays. Interested candidates must be available and open to overtime. 

This position is responsible assembling, modifying, and customizing devices and accessories to fulfill customer requirements by using various power and hand tools, as well as printed and verbal instruction. The processes are to be performed at a rate that meets the schedule demands. This position may also assist repair technicians with minor troubleshooting, repairing, estimating, or quality assurance checking for various products.


1. Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies using written procedures.

2. Complete work orders in a timely manner and complete all associated documentation.

3. Rotate job responsibilities as needed to insure a smooth production flow.

4. Perform all quality checks and/or verification steps in the procedures.

5. Report all concerns to other team members and the lead or supervisor immediately.

6. Immediately report to management any situations, condition or concerns that may need management attention.

7. Make suggestions that will improve quality or reduce cycle time for products.

8. Help in the completion of weekly cycle counts of the production floor.

9. Complete documentation and dispose of rejected material on a daily basis.

10. Regular attendance and timeliness is expected.

  • Ability to reach at or above shoulder level frequently

  • Ability to push and pull 0-25lbs frequently
  • Ability to push and pull 26-75lbs occasionally
  • Qualifications and Skills



• High school diploma.

• Basic electronics course would be helpful.


• 2-3 years of experience in PC board assembly, cable assembly, mechanical assembly or related activity.

Job Specific Abilities:

• Fully competent on majority of assemblies in production.

• Excellent soldering skills; SMT preferred, and experience with ESD practices.

• Be able to follow directions, both written and verbal.

• Knowledge of ISO standards preferred.

• Work well with others in a team environment.

Computer Skills:

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet applications

Math Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
