Description: JOIN US AS A SR. SAMPLE SPECIALISTPRIMARY FUNCTIONManage all aspects of samples and props lifecycle for Marketing photography shoots: receive samples, transfer to and from studios, ingest into inventory, remove for final disposition.Organize, process and track samples and props. Communicate with partners to ensure projects are properly prioritized and delivered to meet deadlines. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with internal and external teams to receive, organize, track and transfer samples and props to and from internal, local, national and international photo studios, color separators, merchants and vendors. Assist stylists and art directors in prop selections.Work closely with studio teams during production to provide all samples and props needs. Take appropriate action to mitigate issues and resolve problems.Manage project workflow to meet studio production timelines. Assess project volume and logistics schedule to drive processing and staging priorities. Organize and maintain physical inventory of samples and props. Manage disposition of samples upon completion of project execution. Utilize database data to make appropriate inventory management decisions to maintain relevant inventory. Assess processes and drive ongoing improvements to increase operational efficiencies in material handling, inventory management and storage solutions.
REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPSReports to Samples & Props Manager, Royalston.Works closely with Sample Producers, studio teams, merchant teams, internal/external photo studios and color separators.JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 4-year college degree or 3+ years Marketing, sample management, photo production or prop house experience. Understanding of photo studio processes and post production capabilities.
  • Team player able to adjust to flexible teams and work styles. Ability to take direction and manage execution independently to meet goals.
  • Creative problem solver, able to navigate ambiguity within fast paced environment. Ability to handle interruptions and multiple tasks at various stages of project execution.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel). Familiarity with inventory management databases.
  • Physically able to stand or walk for long periods of time, climb ladders. Comfortable handling large inventory- push, pull, lift 25lbs.
