Everything we do begins with the guest, including our approach to advertising. As a Lead Category Account Manager, you'll drive the creative strategy and creative oversight at both the account and brand level opportunities that drive shopper marketing and national brand advertising revenue for Target. As these opportunities are identified, you will manage the end-to-end creative execution including KPI alignment, pitch/proposal presentation, execution, post-launch QA and expense management. A critical thought partner internally, you will be relied upon to be a client-facing Target brand steward supporting merchandising and marketing priorities for your assigned book of business. Your status as a trusted internal liaison coupled with the acute knowledge of digital industry challenges will help you to be solutions-oriented and have the ability to work through escalations and difficult situations independently.This client-centric individual must also promote productivity and efficiency in the work and partner with Sales, Agencies, Brands, Creative partners and Target's Key, JBP and Innovator vendors to uncover growth opportunities. This position reports to the Sr. Category Account Manager, TMN. - Bachelors' degree B.A. /B.S or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of Account Management or Content Strategy in the Digital space with ability to manage multiple large projects.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maximize relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Ability to articulate and translate client objectives and lead team with creative assignment.
- Be creative ambassador and steward of the Target brand. Build a culture of creative thinking and innovation.
- Strong understanding of digital and social platforms as well as their use in marketing.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to share actionable recommendations in a concise and persuasive manner.
