Digital People is seeking an amazing Copywriter for a long-term contract position! In this role you will have the opportunity to develop best-in-class copy that establishes and evokes our client’s style, quality and tone of voice in all digital channels including product UX, web, email, video scripts, and articles to name a few! Responsibilities:

  • Understand key audiences and provide guidance on the best way to engage them based on where they are in their journey (how copy and content will deepen relationships with customers and prospects and inspire action)
  • Develop deep understanding of overall business objectives and the ability to translate that understanding to effective copy and content development
  • Partner with other members of the marketing team to understand how copy and content is performing and use that information to refine future deliverables
  • Drive consistency of voice across all platforms and content
  • Collaborate with creative team on the visual expression of content
  • Write, edit, and proof copy on a variety of topics across multiple content formats
  • Create call to action that will drive results in digital and subject lines and copy that will drive engagement in various channels
  • Concept development and the creation of SMPs
  • Write copy for SEO, social media and blogging
  • Write within brand guidelines and a defined tone of voice while creating clear, persuasive, yet engaging copy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications or similar field
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience writing/editing in deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern digital copy and content – developing narratives to build customer and prospect relationships
  • Agency experience
  • Familiarity with AP style
  • Experience and understanding of B2B technology products and solutions
  • Strong client facing communicator, confident in asking questions
  • Happy working in a fast paced, agile environment across multiple projects
  • Strong aptitude to team work and building solid relationships
