Instructor/Assistant Professor of Dance
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Dance. This appointment is a fixed-term/9 month sabbatical replacement with an expected start date of August 20, 2018. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses that would include, but are not limited to, beginning through advanced levels Modern Dance Theory and Technique, Dance Appreciation, Performance, beginning and intermediate levels of Ballet, and teaching or team-teaching in other areas as qualified and needed. Additional duties include directing and choreographing the Annual Main Season dance production, serving as the Dance Program Director, serving on Theatre and Dance department committees, advising/mentoring students, and performing other customary faculty duties. Minimum qualifications for this position include are an M.F.A. degree in dance and a demonstrated commitment to quality teaching.
