A role with our Small Format team means working on our small-format stores which are often placed in vibrant urban environments or in partnership with university campuses. Within 50,000 square feet or less, you and the CFT will help identify the right opportunities to solve and ensure execution of these new stores is flawless.This role is responsible for the identification of underlying opportunities, improve operations and process, and mobilization of teams throughout the company to accelerate the operations of our small format strategy.  He or she is responsible for defining the scale process improvements, program management foundation and risk mitigation necessary.  Responsible for identifying and understanding underlying opportunities to improve small formats and remodel operations / execution.  Leads a cross functional effort aimed at executing these tactics. 
  • Lead a cross-functional team in assessing, defining, and developing scale capabilities needed for format buildout and optimization
  • Support cross-functional teams in defining the people, process, tool/tech, and op model needs in order to close scale capability gaps  
  • Coordinate across stakeholders, and identify dependencies across group and with broader organization
  • Responsible for broad program management, providing direction and creating accountability for cross functional partners
  • Oversees development of program management process and tools to advance our work, quickly iterate, and remove roadblocks
  • Drive connectivity, major milestones, and execution of critical change management and communication deliverables across the many focus areas, workstreams, and workgroups.
  • Own communication to all levels of leadership to share performance and updates on key initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for monitoring and enhancing the newly defined tools & processes.
  • Drive overall program engagement, measurements and communication (program wide meetings, survey management, risk identification, recognition, etc.)
  • Develop tools & processes that enable us to move faster without missing critical considerations.
  • Provide training to new partners as they enter the project to understand our project management tools & processes.
  • Develop and create test & learn culture to quickly test ideas and adjust; align short and long term goals to capitalize on this approach

About you:
  • Four Year College Degree
  • 7+ years Supply Chain, S/P, Properties, Merchandising, Program Management or Store Operations experience
  • Experience leading a large cross functional team
  • Experience driving a large enterprise wide initiative
  • Strategic and innovative (able to take a step back, be creative, push boundaries, prioritize and guide thinking )
  • Outstanding communication - both in presenting and the development of content for presentations. 
  • Synthesizer with an analytical mindset (able to balance between art and science)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results quickly and consistently
  • Bold, ability to work in ambiguis situations; highly resilient
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills with ability drive action through others
  • Strong organizational, administrative, reasoning and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
