Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of a team that values groundbreaking innovation and visionary goals. As a Marketing Manager - Affiliate you'll be responsible for…Supporting and executing the Affiliate strategy for all Target digital properties.  Inclusive of:
  • Assist in developing tactics that support the strategies to drive growth with a strong ROAS
  • Assist in acquiring, activating and optimizing affiliates
  • Analyze performance of affiliates - publishers, publisher groups, promotions, ad types, and test initiatives to explain business results and recommend optimization opportunities
  • Keep agency and affiliates up-to-date on new products and program enhancements
  • Report on affiliate marketing promotions and activity to leadership
  • Perform competitor and market analyses related to affiliate marketing
  • Identify and implement new opportunities to enhance the affiliate program and work with leadership to sell these ideas internally
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and commission structures for affiliates
  • Forecast monthly traffic, sales and spend performance for each publisher group
  • Perform competitive and industry analyses - glean insights and ideas for what could be applicable to Target's program
  • Source Target content for publishing
  • Ensure affiliates adhere to Target terms and represent the brand well
  • Build and maintain agency, vendor and affiliate relationships
  • Assist in educating internal partners on the Affiliate Channel
  • Manage feed and pixel tracking execution, enhancements, and fixes
  • 4-year Degree in Business or related areas of study or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on affiliate marketing and direct response
  • Conceptual understanding of data warehousing basics/principles and how to leverage data in driving decisions and action
  • Understanding of how websites and the internet works in regards to tracking/tagging, URLs, redirects, cookies, app linking and tracking, and web analytics
  • Highly analytical and able to analyze large data sets to draw insights to inform business decisions
  • The ability to independently prospect, recruit, and onboard affiliates
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, conversion techniques
  • Experience with affiliate platforms preferred (e.g. Impact Radius, CJ etc)
  • Purpose and results-driven with an ability to accomplish tasks on deadlines
  • Strong relationship building, communication and negotiation skills
  • A desire to evolve the affiliate business model
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and working with minimal supervision
  • Devotion to detail and is capable of multi-tasking and coordinating several projects at once
