PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT ADVISOR
Hennepin Healthcare System, Inc. (dba Hennepin County Medical Center) has an opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota for a Performance Improvement Advisor. Apply industrial engineering principles to serve as an improvement change agent by stewarding healthcare performance improvement initiatives. Work directly with the Performance Improvement Manager to develop tactical plans to improve and implement staff performance. Apply Lean principles eliminate waste and variation from healthcare processes and promote adoption of standard work practices. Use standard framework to improve projects, and provide improvement support. Support deployment of Lean Management System to departments. Ensure sustainability of improvements by incorporating change management principles, and facilitate point kaizen (process improvement) events, including all aspects of scoping, process mapping, data analysis, measurement and overall project execution. Extract and analyze operational information and perform analysis to identify root cause of substandard areas.
Requires: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering. Also requires at least two (2) years FTE research and/or industry experience applying industrial engineering principles to build optimization models and perform data analyses to improve organizational processes in the healthcare industry.
