ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS Position DescriptionLead marketing communications across all lines of business. Manage the UCare brand and reputation. Facilitate product marketing communications strategy, communications development and implementation. Manage supervisory and senior-level staff including the creative services team. ·Maintain high levels of staff engagement among the Marketing/Communications team. Manage, recruit, hire and train supervisory and senior-level staff. Monitor and help triage work flow and daily workloads within communications, digital marketing and health promotion.·Develop and facilitate implementation of marketing communications strategies and tactical communications plans to help UCare achieve marketing goals.·Direct brand amplifying campaigns and communicate with departments across the organization to ensure staff are "on message" with the UCare story, mission and brand promise.·Secure necessary resources for writing, design and communications production, digital marketing and administration of health promotion programs. ·Provide strategic direction for ongoing communications including member newsletters, social media posts and blogs. Edit materials prepared by staff contributors. ·Initiate strategic and implementation work groups for new product communications, digital marketing enhancements, public relations campaigns and health promotion innovations.·Support the ongoing maintenance, updating and redesign of UCare's external websites to ensure quality, effectiveness and accuracy. Initiate enhanced functionality, interactivity and self-serve features. Implement integrations of new microsites. EducationBachelor's degree in communications or related field required.Required ExperienceSeven or more years of corporate communications experience in all media. Three or more years of management or supervisory experience. Experience with Microsoft Office systems and desktop publishing systems.Preferred ExperienceExperience in healthcare setting.
