Humera is seeking a Membership Account Specialist for a non-profit healthy living facility in Minneapolis. The Member Account Specialist is responsible for auditing membership records, managing accounts receivable, and maintaining member accounts. The incumbent assists branch staff with membership program questions, troubleshoots issues, and provides training. This is a long term contract position!


Duties:
  • Conducts audits of member accounts to determine compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes data, conducts research, and prepares ongoing branch status reports for management.
  • Communicates with branch team members concerning invoices, collections, refunds, and membership status.
  • Provides support to all membership areas including Corporate Wellness and Membership Sales to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Provides reports, administrative and technical support to branches, departments, and program areas which may include training related to membership.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Engages and provides partners with high quality customer service.

Required Qualifications: :
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative work.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in member services and/or high level customer service.
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to process a large volume of work.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to make decisions, set priorities, and work as a team.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse clientele and team members.
  • Must be organized and have strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel locally to other branches and other program sites.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with Personify.
  • Multilingual.
  • Experience in auditing, collections, or bookkeeping.
