Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Sales and Distribution:

Dungs Combustion Controls develops, manufactures, and markets their products and systems globally for the comfort heating and process heat industry.

Karl Dungs, Inc., the North American subsidiary of the German manufacturer, Karl Dungs, GmbH and Co KG., is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative, for a fast-paced environment, providing customer account management by supporting customer relationships, quoting; order processing, order status update, dispute resolution, and answering basic technical questions.

The customer service representative is responsible for day-to-day customer account management activity; responsibilities include:

  • Manage a wide variety of inquiries regarding transactions, products and services
  • Manage disputes and customer complaint resolution
  • Coordinate and act as an advocate for the customer inside the organization working closely with engineering, procurement, production, quality, sales, and shipping, to ensure we exceed customer expectations and on time delivery of product
  • Liaison for technical support and provide basic technical assistance regarding products and services – pressure, flow, electricity
  • Receive order information via various means; phone, web portals, e-mail, regional sales, and enters required information into the operating system; follow up as needed to clarify order information, pricing, and ship methods
  • Manage necessary documentation for exports

Basic Requirements:

  • Two-year degree
  • Three plus years of experience in a technical customer service environment; account management
  • SAP Sales & Distribution experience mandatory
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organization, time management, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize numerous daily activities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and process flow requirements – ISO 9001
