A role in Global Logistics, Inventory Allocation and Replenishment means you'll focus on the efficient transportation of product around the world. Here, you'll be challenged to pivot seamlessly from sales operations and planning, to ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, to achieving the best possible product availability through proper inventory positioning. You'll establish and develop great relationships with our vendors to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to stores and ultimately, guests. And you'll analyze transportation supplier capabilities and contracts for maximum speed, reliability and cost effectiveness. As a Sr. Analyst within the First Mile Transportation network supporting food you will be responsible for ensuring product is delivered on time to a specific need by time to our Food Distribution Centers.  You will actively work with our carrier partners on performance management and executing all of our transportation needs within the food supply chain.  This role will have daily performance conversations with our carriers to understand performance as well as any opportunities within the network.   As the Sr. Analyst you will work closely with our Inventory Management Partners to understand upcoming volume and what transportation solutions are needed to support guest in stocks and drive sales.  In this role you are also responsible for analyzing data to identify trends, solve for current supply chain issues and help identify what is needed within the future state food supply chain.  The exciting part of retail?   • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within the transportation or food supply chain industry
  • Proficient in Excel, basic reporting tools (DOMO or Tableau)
  • Strong abilities in data analytics and leverages for problem solving
  • Knowledge of budget management practices
  • Experience with carrier management
