A role in Localization means you will be working on a key enterprise initiative at an exciting time when we are learning, iterating and scaling Localization strategies within Merchandising. As a Localization Sr. Buyer, you'll collaborate with Divisionals and Merchants to understand the category strategy and assortment plans to support increased usage of data to develop deeper segmentation strategies that will help deliver overall category results. You will leverage your experience in strategic and cross-functional leadership, planning and execution to further expand merchandising and inventory strategies for Multicultural Beauty, Cosmetics, and Toys. You will also collaborate with key partners to develop Multicultural brands while playing a collaborative role to advocate for cultural relevancy in our merchant and marketing tactics. You will also support store engagement initiatives to maximize locally relevant opportunities, and will be responsible for holding the gains on localization initiatives while advocating for technology integration with future assortment tools. About you:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of Merchandising experience, including Buyer experience
  • Demonstrated cultural competency and passion for Diversity & Inclusion
  • Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong strategic, financial, analytical, and planning skills
  • Performance-driven individual who demonstrates strong initiative and superior leadership
  • Flexibility, resiliency & nimbleness; comfort working in “grey areas” that are constantly changing
