Director of Health Care Workforce Development
Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as our Director of Health Care Workforce Development for the Minnesota State HealthForce Center of Excellence. This position is a full-time/externally funded appointment that will be officed out of Bemidji State University.
As Director, you will work closely with healthcare employers statewide to determine current and future workforce and training needs in the healthcare sector. This includes developing regional and statewide plans and interacting with several important audiences including professionals in the healthcare field, industry associations and employers, peer institutions, K-12 education officials, prospective students and their influencers, and State of Minnesota stakeholders. While this position has statewide scope and responsibility, you are also responsible for representing HealthForce in north central Minnesota initiatives and meetings.
Minimum qualifications for this position include a Master’s degree in leadership, a healthcare discipline, administration or policy area with direct experience in project management and at least 5 years in higher education, workforce development, labor market research or health policy, including experience in leading organizational innovation and change.
