Description: PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Sr. Manager Supplier Performance Management will drive projects and processes that elevate Supplier Performance on key operational measurements such as On-Time Ship, On-Time Arrival, and Fill Rate through development of strong internal and external partnerships.  This role will leverage performance data and analytical capabilities coupled with cross-functional collaboration to identify trends, uncover root causes, and initiate action plans that improve supplier execution.  As Target transforms its supply chain, this role has the opportunity to develop new routines and joint capabilities with top suppliers and internal partners that enable faster and more accurate order fulfillment and ultimately lead to improved Guest experiences. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for leading cross-functional projects that enable faster, more reliable supplier performance.
2. Drive data-driven analysis and continuous improvement activities with Target's largest merchandise supplier partners.
3. Partner with Inventory Management leadership, suppliers, and supply chain teams to define supplier performance priorities and drive progress against these objectives.
4. Provide education, analytical, and project management support to Suppliers and Inventory Management teams in order to achieve joint operational outcomes.
5. Explore opportunities to refine order management, field operations, and logistics activities for both Target and our Suppliers.
6. Support 1st Mile Supply Chain capability enhancements through process development, measurement creation, and compliance modernization.
REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Director Supplier Performance Management.  Works within the Supplier Performance Management team focused on Partnership & Performance Improvement.  Has direct working relationships with Inventory Management, Transportation/Logistics, HQ & Field Distribution, and external Supplier Partners.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years experience in Inventory Management, Retail Supply Chain, or related field
• A passion for research, analysis and answering hard questions with data
• Cross-functional project management experience and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and influence senior leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience with supplier relationship management and compliance activities
• Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling data mining, writing SQL statements and developing code used to manage and summarize big data.
• Demonstrated understanding of Lean/6Sigma problem solving methods
