Senior Electrical Engineer
Our Senior Engineer serves as the Cooperatives expert in material and construction standards and provides distribution engineering support for the Association, and so much more. This position requires a BSEE or BEE; 10 years of distribution/utility/related engineering experience; PE license, in the state of Minnesota.
Our Engineers works to maintain and improve the safety, reliability and overall economics of the electrical distribution system, and then some. This position requires a BSEE or BEE; two years of distribution/utility/related engineering experience. Successful completion of the fundamentals in Engineering exam is required. Degreed Electrical Engineers with less experience will be considered.
Our team of mechanics are responsible for trouble shooting, repairing and performing preventative maintenance on all of our vehicles, equipment and hand tools within Dakota Electric’s fleet. The mechanics must have practical knowledge of all types of machinery and tools, this position works to maintain and improve the safety, reliability and overall economics of the electrical distribution system. A two-year degree in heavy truck/diesel mechanic and five (5) years of experience.
