Magnum Dedicated of Minneapolis is currently seeking a Dispatcher to work on-site at our customer location in NE Mpls. Position invoves coordination of drivers, trucks and equipment to create capacity, maximize productivity and ensure prompt, courteous and efficient service tocustomers. Enter accurate and complete load information into computer system. Review and audit driver logs to verify items shipped. Match Bills of Lading, reconcile quantities, noting discrepancies and monitor errors, missing information or violations. Promptly communicate delays, issues, or concerns regarding customer load requests. Participate in operational and safety meetings. Assist with special project and perform other duties as assigned. Appropriately use progressive discipline, providing both positive and negative constructive feedback to employees.

Hours: Second Shift; M - F 3:00PM - 12:00AM, occasional Saturdays

Pay: Competitive Salary DOE

Requirements: Prior transportation Dispatch and/or Supervisory experience is required in Truckload/Local Cartage/Broker capacity. Ability to adapt and be flexible in an environment where priorities and load schedules are constantly changing. Knowledge of business processes, transportation and dispatch terminology. Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines. Prior Truckmate (TMW) software experience preferred. Familiarity with CSA principles and FMCSA regulations. Goal oriented and able to set and achieve company or personal objectives to ensure maximum productivity.
