LPN- Extended Care

As an Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN), you will function as a nursing team member on the Extended Care and Rehabilitation Service line.
Key functions include:
-Good use of judgment in selecting the most appropriate application of procedures and guidelines
-Accurate reporting/recording significant veteran information
-Demonstrate ability to observe/identify/respond to veteran needs for nursing/medication/equipment-assisted care and to recognize deviations from normal
-Modification of Veteran care plans considering veteran physical, emotion and social factors and developmental stage
-Demonstrates ability to use practical knowledge of human behavior, motivations, and reactions to situations in effectively working with patients, family, significant others and other staff members
-Responds to emergency situations
-Performs other duties as assigned
Work Schedule: FT and PT tours may vary based on the needs of the units. May be eligible for compressed work schedules
