We are flexible with hours during the typical Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work week to help work around school schedules, will have the intern working around 20-25 hours per week

Summary and Purpose:
The primary function of this position is to support process improvement and project design and implementation for Warehousing and other Magnum Companies, typically related to costing and productivity. This person may perform operational analysis, process improvement, facility and capacity planning, project management, along with warehouse inventory control, kitting, Kanban, and light assembly.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Conduct time studies, perform zero base analysis, rate analysis, network analysis, statistical analysis, flow path analysis and supply chain analysis
  2. Propose and implement cost savings changes to warehousing, redesign Kanban and kitting projects by reallocating labor, rearranging processes, adding/changing procedures and adding/changing equipment
  3. Develop metrics for business units, identifies process improvement opportunities through competitive analysis, and critical thinking
  4. Support cross-functional strategic or process improvement projects
  5. Help develop business tools and solution based knowledge, product or technology
  6. Help develop reports and run ad hoc queries. Identify and develop business rules and standard operating procedures to streamline operating processes
  7. Develop and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models
  8. Provide facility and capacity planning analysis for Magnum Warehousing and other supply chain accounts
  9. Responsible to meet customer goals and expectations by developing a plan to meet the objectives
  10. Work as a liaison, coordinate and facilitate communication between customer and Magnum warehousing to maintain a good customer relationship


Requirements: Must have at least 2 years completedaccredited university currently majoring in Industrial Engineering.
