Description: Develops in store marketing strategies and concept development for new and remodeled stores, using Target's overall strategy as a starting point. Evaluates various elements, category strategies, and in store spaces to ensure they come together to form one complete storewide experience with the goal of bringing the Target brand to life in a clear and concise way.  Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Addresses guest and business challenges by developing clear and measurable in store marketing strategies to inspire, navigate, and educate the guest during their in store shopping experience
  • Ability to read store maps and make decisions independently based on business strategies and initiatives
  • Solid creative evaluation and problem solving skills to determine optimal solutions to unique store level needs
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to influence and build relationships with leaders and key stakeholders to drive work forward
  • Accountable to budget accuracy
  • Facilitates necessary research and draws conclusions from data to make accurate decisions
  • Work on cross media alignment opportunities
  • Puts the guest first; knows the guest, how they shop and what they need in store
  • Comp shops regularly to understand how other businesses organize and market their products
Job Requirements
  • College Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years relevant experience
  • Strategic thinker and passionate problem solver
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
  • Strong influential and communication skills that can drive change
  • Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills
