OVERVIEW

The University of St. Thomas School of Engineering invites applications for a 1-year Visiting Professor position in Mechanical Engineering. Teaching responsibilities will include lectures and laboratories with preference going to the areas of Materials Science, Solid Mechanics, and Manufacturing Processes. The Visiting Professor will work as a part of a team of faculty that supports the St. Thomas student-focused approach to engineering education. Resources for research opportunities are available and negotiable.


QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should have at minimum a Mechanical Engineering or Material Science PhD or be ABD, industrial experience is valued.

Additionally, qualified candidates will embrace a strong hands-on curriculum that provides technical excellence with a significant emphasis on real world applications.
