CommonBond is excited to announce that we are looking for a Database Administrator in our Central Office in St. Paul. This person joins a passion team of fundraisers, event planners, and marketing experts

The Database Administrator’s primary responsibility is to maintain accurate records in the fund raising software, Raiser’s Edge. This person will maintain and modify policies and procedures for tracking gifts, donors; maintaining the moves management process and train and ensure that staff is operating in accordance with set policies and procedures. This person will also provide reports and

• Fully utilize Raiser's Edge software and maintain the database. Work to improve processes and systems. Maintain and modify policies and procedures for entering gifts, maintaining donor records, updating financial information.
• Maintain and update Raiser’s Edge procedures manual.
• Manage mailing list; and gift entry and acknowledgement process
• Report on department financial progress and volunteer progress on a regular basis
• Reconcile monthly/quarterly/year-end contributions with accounting department.
• Coordinate donor solicitations and track appeals appropriately.
• Provide regular appeals/solicitor/proposal analysis.
• Provide regular Annual Fund and Capital Campaign reporting and analysis.
• Play an active role in the department’s overall goals, strategies and objectives.
• Segment donor database for annual solicitations.
• Coordinate Annual Fund solicitation/mailing process.
• Manage department budgeting.
• Assist with special events as needed.

• Raiser’s Edge software experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
• Willingness and ability to work a varied and flexible schedule
• Must be able to set priorities, make decisions and work in a team
