Your passion meets your vision when it comes to working the data, solving problem statements, gap analysis and asking the all-important question of “What if … ?”About the Job:As a Supply Chain Analyst for the Labor Planning team you will work to foster strong relationships with field partners, site leadership, Finance, Merchandising, Network Planning, Business Intelligence, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and HR. You'll work with those key partners to support the network by using data, analytics and forecasting techniques to provide ongoing short and long-term labor forecasts along with hiring & staffing plans. In this role you will also perform ad hoc operations data analysis and key performance indicator report development and publication by using SQL queries and Excel macros and data mining. You'll also help with productivity analysis and performance expectation updates and work with key transformational work streams to influence the future state of labor planning.  Your ability to use quantitative analysis, statistics and historical data trends along with your knowledge of site operations and staffing complexities will enable Target to be successful. You'll leverage your strong communication skills on a regular basis with key leaders across the network at HQ and within the field and act as a consultant to alleviate potential site leader concerns. You will need to provide quick and robust follow-up to any identified problems. The relationship between you and site leadership team is paramount to your short and long-term success in this role.   • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years supply chain or supply chain support area experience
  • Analytical skills and ability use of SQL and Excel macros among other technology and data mining abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to think quickly and problem solve on the spot
  • Comfortable self-directing, self-motivating and figuring out the optimal path forward where not defined
  • Proven ability to work in fast paced environment
