Here, you'll deliver the insights and analytics that measure our performance and improve our marketing and media decisions. You'll lead the discovery, interpretation and communication of meaningful data patterns that inform innovation for greater guest loyalty. Your work will help guide the holistic Target experience for our guests while providing our business partners with facts distilled into insights and implications that they can quickly and easily act on. You'll dream big to ideate the new tools and methodologies that effectively answer Marketing and Media Strategy's most critical questions. And you'll provide leadership when it comes to guest data governance, policies and enhancements.As a GRS Personalization & Insights Analyst, you will leverage and analyze data to solve problems that will inform our strategies to deepen relationships with our guests. You will perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to support prioritized personalization use cases. You will assist the team to query and profile new and existing data sources to understand the source data impacts/benefits to personalization models. This could include (but is not limited to) 3rd party data (Axciom, Experian, LiveRamp, etc.), social data (Facebook, Google, Pintrest, etc.), weather data, local event data, and competitor store openings and closings. Finally, you will assist the team to troubleshoot business critical issues as they transpire. Perform root cause analysis for various data infrastructure issues that arise during deployments/updates that occur across the enterprise.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description.   • BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience
  • Passion for analytics and data-driven marketing; experience with database management
  • Proficiency with SQL queries and relational databases
  • Work hands on analyzing and mining large data sets
  • Knowledge of data warehouse, big data, data model design and implementation
  • Understanding of core database marketing concepts
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with partner teams
