Ware has a medical device client located in the west metro that is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is a direct hire role with a company that is continuing to expand. Our client is a contract manufacturer, supporting medical device companies. You will develop and document the manufacturing process of precision components.  Perform machine set-up and first article inspection for process verification.  Train employees to operate and manufacture components per standard operating procedures.  Develop quality inspection requirements (SPC) and document the process per customer requirements.



Determine process to manufacture components

Select equipment as required

Select tooling/Fixtures required for manufacturing

Create SOP documentation as required

Develop programs utilizing CAD/CAM

Perform pre-process planning

Follow Standard Operating Procedures

Implement changes to SOP when required

Issue new revision levels to SOP when required

Define process control plan utilizing SPC software

Perform initial setup of equipment

Run first article or process verification run

Ensure Production Control is aware of cycle times for components

Communicate directly with customer to ensure all changes are understood and documented

Define process and estimate cycle times


Bachelor degree in Engineering or related with at least 4 years related experience in engineering; or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience in a metal manufacturing work environment preferred

General skill in CNC programming and computer skills

Skilled in the use and interpretation of SPC

Geometric Tolerancing and drawing interpretation

5-10 years of hands on machining

3 years’ experience with CAM programming software
