The Department of Nursing invites applicants for a Part-Time faculty position to teach in the graduate program post baccalaureate Master of Science in Nursing Entry-Level (MSNEL) option beginning fall 2018. This program designed for the adult learner includes evening and weekend classes. Rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, contract type rolling, and salary are commensurate with education and experience.
We are searching for a faculty colleague who loves to teach; is passionate about working with diverse colleagues, students, and populations; understands the importance of interprofessional education; and is committed to the scholarship of teaching. Situated in the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health with over 32 health profession programs, we have a fertile ground for teaching interprofessional practice. Responsibilities: Teaching students in the classroom, online, and in the clinical setting, and engaging in scholarship and service per University guidelines.Position Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing required; Doctoral degree in nursing preferred. The candidate must be eligibility for RN licensure in the State of Minnesota. Nursing experience in medical surgical nursing is required, and teaching pre-licensure students, commitment to collaborative engagement with student advisees is preferred.
