POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Document Production Analyst is responsible for the management of the writing, proofing, creation, filing, printing and fulfillment of regulatory and member documents. This includes but is not limited to enrollment forms, ID Cards, enrollment/billing/claims letters, invoices, EOC's, EOB's, SB's, formularies, directories, LIS riders and annual mailings. Responsibilities include the overall relationship, performance and management of the client's regulatory document vendor and the oversight of pertinent work in the print & fulfillment area.

DUTIES:

  • Develops and implements all regulatory documents according to regulatory guidance including, but not limited to: enrollment forms, ID cards, enrollment/billing/claims letters, invoices, EOCs, EOBs, SBs, formularies, directories, LIS riders, annual mailings and other member documents
  • Monitors the core elements of the document vendor agreement and measures performance against contracted standards
  • Ensures timely implementation and oversight of document usage at the appropriate vendors (i.e. Lasermark, Optum)
  • Coordinates necessary language translations, alternative formats (Braille, large font), and 508 remediation of documents
  • Collaborates and coordinates with the client's print fulfillment area to ensure documents are printed, inventory levels are managed and mailed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinates with other vendors to ensure the correct letter templates are implemented and utilized
  • Participates on internal and external regulatory work groups, sponsored by CMS, DHS or other regulatory bodies, that relate directly to government document requirements
  • Establishes key controls at each stage of the process and monitors accordingly
  • Coordinates and holds the document creation vendor and the client's print fulfillment area accountable to ensure accuracy in their work


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years minimum experience required in the field
  • Minimum of 2 years working with regulatory and member documents & contracts
  • Detailed knowledge of health insurance and managed care products, benefit design and member policy holder documents
  • Proven ability to partner with internal departments and vendors to achieve quality results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative and must be a self-starter
