Support Services Technology Assistant-Educational Institution
Staffing Partners has an immediate opening for a Support Services Technology Assistant with a great Educational Institution in the Uptown area. Looking for someone to start mid-August and commit through December 21st. Hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Free catered lunch along with free parking!!
This technically savvy Support Services Assistant will be the first point of contact for technology questions to assist students, faculty, and staff with technology needs in their school. This position will directly report to the Support Services Technician and work closely with the Teacher Librarian, Associate Librarian, Computer Science Teacher and Digital Learning Specialist to provide daily support to students and faculty using library and media center resources, laptops, and classrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing Apple's hardware, software, network, and providing audio/visual support in classrooms and enjoy working in a collaborative library media and school environment. Will provide exceptional customer service to student, employees, and community users of technology.
B.A. or vocational trade school with advanced training (or equivalent) and certifications related to technical support and IT systems.
Must have at least 2 to 3 years of technical support and experience in Apple with technology service desk support. Experience with Apple MacOS X, and ITIL Service Management a huge plus.
