A role with Shared Services means supporting category management plans and sourcing and negotiation approaches for all indirect spend categories. You'll share and promote the best tactics across the entire company while developing deep category knowledge and close client relationships in each.As a Lead Pricing Analyst on the Sourcing Performance Management team, you'll use your skills to design and maintain the financial models that support the COE. Use your technical and analytical aptitude to vet contracts, pricing and other supplier agreements to ensure that pricing assumptions are accurately identified and incorporated with the models. Your input will be key to Target realizing the expected value from the terms of our agreements.PRIMARY FUNCTION/ PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Lead Pricing analyst is considered a subject matter expert in sourcing performance management, exhibiting strong knowledge of pricing models, scenario optimization, and sourcing techniques. Drives the design, build, and maintenance of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) financial models to support clients with relevant financial comparisons and analyses throughout the Source to Manage ("S2M") process primarily for Strategic and Leveraged Spend Categories with high complexity. Partners closely with business teams and Finance to gather historical volumes and spend, future forecasts, and budget information in order to identify relevant baseline spend.  Ensures that key pricing assumptions are identified and incorporated in TCO Models. Identifies relevant business constraints in order to present viable sourcing decision scenarios highlighting financial and non-financial trade-offs.   • 4-year college degree (accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics)
  • 7-10 years relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in public speaking and presenting to various levels of leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • MBA/CPA/MA Desired
