Registered Nurse Ward 2L Post Operative
Ward 2L is a 40 bed acute surgical unit that serves as an important component of the continuum of care in the Medical Center. The purpose of the unit is to provide nursing care to veterans experiencing acute surgical problems; or patients requiring close observation, skilled nursing care, cardiac monitoring, continuous O2 saturation monitoring and specialized procedures. Care is ongoing and encompasses varying states of recuperation from diagnosis to treatment and promotion of health, recovery.Responsibilities
Ward 2L works with the Specialties of ENT, Urology, Orthopedics, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, Neurosurgery, Plastics, General, Gynecology, Eye and Dental Surgeries.
