Humera is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our client in Minneapolis, MN. Our client is a company providing health coverage and services to members in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The individual in this role is responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and on-site/off-site meeting assistance to the Member Experience Manager. Key liaison for internal and external customers. Manage administrative functions, including scheduling and communications, provide project support and coordination of retention meeting activities. Duties

  • Work closely with Member Experience Manager to ensure all aspects of member retention meetings are handled. This includes confirming meeting locations and meeting times, arranging for catering, arranging for technology and ensuring it works properly, assisting with meeting room setup. Individual will also help manage the meeting reservation process, will order materials and print pieces for meetings, and will maintain a stock of trinkets for meetings.
  • On meeting dates, attend meetings with Member Experience Manager to set up materials, ensure rooms are set up correctly and that catering has arrived, and ensure technology is available and working. Also ensure guest needs are met (such as ushering, answering questions, etc.). Clean up after meetings and track attendance.

  • Organize and supervise other UCare meeting volunteers and give them instructions for their duties during the meetings.
  • Assist with handling meeting site contracts and arrange for payment for sites.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to last minute requests and changes.
Preferred
  • Customer Service and/or event planning experience
