From brand and patent law to contract development and negotiations, you'll be challenged and gratified by a role with Target Legal Affairs.A role in Enterprise Risk Management means you will help identify and manage top strategic, financial, operational and compliance risks Target faces. You will also play a key role in coordinating and maintaining an enterprise response framework for these areas of risk.As a Sr Risk Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for conducting risk assessments with business leaders across the company, develop and automate key risk metrics for a portfolio of business unit risks, supporting key initiatives such as the enterprise adoption of the Enterprise Risk framework, and other assigned projects related to Target's Enterprise Risk program. This work lays the foundation for future growth and impact, driving new projects and process improvements that support new initiatives and company strategies by collaborating with cross-company working teams and influencing change.  Projects include performing business unit risk assessments, identifying risk metrics for a business risk portfolio, creating and executing new enterprise wide training program to ensure adoption of the Enterprise Risk framework, as well as process improvements and support on new Enterprise Risk program strategies, such as facilitating meetings, coordinating communications of the project initiatives, and creating necessary reporting and measurements of project status and success. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.About you:
  • B.A/B.S degree or equivalent experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above, or equivalent level of process expertise and data acumen
  • 3-6 years general business experience in roles with accountabilities for regularly facilitating large group sessions
  • Drives for results and manage execution: coordinate, prioritize, establish goals, ensure timelines are being met and use resources
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; tailors message by audience, negotiate consequences, handles setbacks and conflicts constructively and diplomatically, and provide essential information to the right people at the right time
  • Works independently with limited direction
  • Strong technical and analytical aptitude
  • Demonstrated creative problem solving skills with strong leadership skills
  • Experienced in collaborating across departments/pyramids/vendor teams and driving results through collaboration
