Be a part of a team working to advance Target by helping develop and create new capabilities for Insights and Assortment Planning.  This includes assessing and developing specific solutions to institutionalize insights, assortment management, communication, and overall execution.  Work directly with product teams as a voice of the user while helping advance Insights as a capability.

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals.  As a Insights Sr. Consultant, you can expect to…

• Lead efforts to advance the use of data and insights across key assortment planning milestones

• Synthesize findings from all relevant sources (including guest data, financial reporting, market insight providers, to ultimately drive insights for Merchandising leadership while creating a robust toolbox for Merchant teams.

• Partner with the Lead Consultant and Merchant Captains team to develop, coach, and teach reporting and analytics solutions related to financials, competition, and guest dynamics that provide merchants insights to improve their business. 

• Serve as a liason between the business and the technology product teams to ensure development roadmaps are in-line with critical needs,goals, and prioritized capabilities for Merchandising.

• Manage select 3rd party relationships for key insights tools to maintain a robust training and support model for teams, while leading both short & long term strategic roadmaps.

• Leverage both qualitative (what the shopper says) data with quantitative (what the shopper does) data to create optimal capabilities for assortment planning.

• Serve as key partner for EDABI product teams to help shape backlogs and development prioritization.

Requirements

• College Degree

• Two to four years of relevant business experience

• Excellent analytical, decision-making and communication skills

• Strong conceptual skills and ability to translate concepts into actionable insights and tactics

• Ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately.

• Ability to synthesize and clearly communicate highly complex findings to focus on critical issues and actionable opportunities
