Hunter Hamilton has an immediate need for a professional Payroll Accountant to work in Golden Valley, MN! This is an exciting opportunity to join the team of a thriving industry leader on a contract to hire basis. As a Payroll Accountant you will leverage your strong Staff Accounting background while supporting a busy Payroll department.

Duties include: 
  • Payroll reporting, including union payroll
  • Union audits
  • General ledger reconciliations
  • Journal entry reconciliations
  • Reporting projects

As a qualified Payroll Accountant you will have the following:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Payroll knowledge preferred
  • Strong technical skills including MS Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication
