We are excited to announce that we are growing and are looking for an Accountant.
The Accountant position is an accounting professional responsible for all phases of accounting for multiple sets of property books, prepares and reviews monthly reports and provides support to various departments throughout the organization

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Maintains schedules for assets, liabilities, and depreciation
• Produces accurate monthly and year end financials for management and board members
• Reconciles bank accounts
• Complies with all internal control procedures
• Acts as a resource for regional managers regarding budget preparation
• Accurately prepares reports for distribution to auditing firms, management, investors, partners and various government agencies.
• Maintains accurate receivables and payables records.
• Assists in preparation of annual corporate consolidation audit.
• Updates annual corporate audit schedules
• Assists in providing documentation upon request
• Ensures all interdepartmental deadlines are met
• Provide back up support to other accounting staff as needed
• Demonstrates a clear understanding and consistent use of software programs, including but not limited to YARDI, EZ Labor Time Management, Remote Deposit and internet banking applications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum two years of experience with all aspects of accrual accounting through financial statements and audit preparation
• Experience working with multiple sets of books
• Experience with Excel and computerized accounting software
• Ability to design computerized accounting spreadsheets
• Ability to maintain tight internal control procedures
• Detail oriented
• Ability to use 10 key adding machine
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
• Strong figure aptitude
