Cambridge Medical Center, located in Cambridge, Minn., just north of the Twin Cities metro area, is a large multi-specialty clinic and a 57-bed hospital on one campus. Cambridge Medical Center has 900 employees and 50 physicians. Dedicated to providing patient-centered care in an atmosphere that promotes healing and comfort, Cambridge Medical Center provides services to more than 136,000 inpatients and outpatients each year.


Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care
  • Ability to manage patient assignments independantly

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of accredited RN program, BSN preferred.
Experience:
  • Minimum one (1) year current experience in acute nursing with relevant experience is the requirement for a per diem position.
Skills:
  • Experience with electronic medical documentation preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Works well as a team and is excellent patient advocate.
Licensure/Certifications:
  • MN RN license, BLS required, medical terminology required

Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule

  • Casual position (no scheduled hrs)
  • Eve/Night shift
  • Two (2) weekend shifts on evening or nights per four week scheudule.
  • MNA contract
Per contract, four shifts per pay period on evenings and nights, 2 of which are weekend shifts on evenings and night per 4 week schedule. Not all positions consider new grads; if the qualifications above state "New grads will be considered" the new grad hires must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing).
