In this role the lead analyst will be responsible for the overall Same Day Delivery program analytics, metrics, and models, working closely with EDABI. This role will require someone who has advanced data and analytical skills as well as the ability to have a strong business sense of the Same Day Delivery capabilities in Last Mile.  This role will be responsible for sustaining the Same Day Delivery run state metrics, be on point for any drill down ad-hoc analyses, as well as supporting models and advanced analytics to forecast the potential size of future markets.  It will be essential for this role to be able to foresee trends and comprise multiple solutions/scenarios for the Same Day Delivery team to evaluate and act on.  A strong analytical curiosity and self-drive will be key attributes.
The scope of this role will have two central components. First will be acting as the point person for all metrics associated with Same Day Delivery.  This scope shall include the core metrics being reviewed at the GSCL Weekly Metrics Review meeting as well as data and metrics to support the numerous partner organizations supporting Same Day Delivery.  Within the metric responsibilities this role shall be responsible for being the point person for any data quality concerns, data transfer/transformation issues, visualization fixes, granularity adjustments, etc. 
The second central component will be supporting ad-hoc analytics and the creation of data models to forecast market potential for Same Day Delivery in new markets/metropolitan areas.  The models will need to be multidimensional and require the ability to incorporate subjective and objective data elements together.  Creating these models in a sustainable and extensible fashion will be critical.
 Key Responsibilities:o Act as Business Product Owner for daily “Agile” standups with EDABI to develop stories, review progress and refine priorities around metrics and models.
o Support continued metric development and support as well as drive ad-hoc analyses, and analytic models.
o Work with key partners across Target Properties, Stores, GSCL, and Finance to support their data input or output needs.

Success Criteria:- Build out the suite of Same Day Delivery program level metrics
- Create models and analyses that will influence the direction that Same Day Delivery expands
- Support our partners in Supply Chain Finance, Store Ops, GSCL, and Network Planning and Engineering with appropriate data or models

• PhD or MS in Operations Research or supply chain
• A minimum of 8 years' experience working in retail and or FMCG domain
• Has worked in last mile delivery space
• Entrepreneur mind set and a go getter
