Formed in 1974, Gogebic County Community Mental Health Authority provides a complete range of services for all children and adults of Gogebic County who have a serious emotional disturbance, serious mental illness, or developmental disability. Direct services are available to persons who meet eligibility criteria of any age without regard to race, religion, national origin or handicap.

This position is responsible for managing an assigned caseload of consumers having intellectual/developmental disabilities, serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance or co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders and for assessing consumer needs, developing, implementing and reviewing individual plans of services, and working with other providers and community resources in meeting/achieving consumer service needs.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in social work from an accredited college or university and eligibility for licensure in MI.
