ASSOCIATE LAN ADMINISTRATOR
The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is accepting resumes for an entry level Associate LAN Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a dedicated group of IT professionals in carrying out meaningful work that makes a positive difference in the lives of the public.
Responsibilities: The Associate LAN Administrator supports Microsoft and VMware server infrastructure using HPE servers and storage. This position also backs up the LAN Administrator on Microsoft Windows based servers, Exchange administration, network storage management, and support network application and supports and maintains backup, encryption, and security solutions. This position also performs account and login script maintenance, provides advanced end-user support, and maintains LAN Documentation.
Requirements: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, with some related experience is desirable and should have strong customer service and troubleshooting skills, be self-motivated and have strong analytical, problem solving abilities. Applicants should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to manage competing, complex projects, proficient in Microsoft servers, HP hardware support, and ability to write PowerShell Scripts. Microsoft or VMware certifications a plus.
