The Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University (CSB/SJU) invites applications for a full-time, one-year term position, to begin August 2018. A master's level degree in business or a related field is required; however, exceptional work experience, along with a professional certification, such as a CPA, will satisfy this requirement for this one-year position. Teaching experience and/or a doctorate degree will benefit the applicant.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach introductory accounting courses and at least two of the following upper-level courses: Accounting Information Systems, Intermediate Accounting I and II, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting and Income Tax Accounting. The ability to teach other upper level accounting or finance courses will enhance the candidate's application.

Saint John's University, a liberal arts college for men, and the College of Saint Benedict, a liberal arts college for women, are located four miles apart in Central Minnesota just outside St. Cloud and 70 miles from Minneapolis. Both are Catholic colleges in the Benedictine tradition, which emphasize quality teaching and a commitment to intercultural learning. Together, the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University offer a common undergraduate curriculum, identical degree requirements, and a single academic calendar. Being liberal arts institutions, faculty are expected to teach courses in the Common Curriculum.
