A role with Target Digital Media & Search means being close to the action of delivering profitable sales to and bringing the business's multichannel vision to life. You'll create and implement industry-leading digital media plans for Brand & Category Marketing while staying on the cutting edge of emerging digital media innovations. As a Sr. SEM Manager you'll define and create a framework for activation and optimization across all search platforms (including, but not limited to Google, Bing and Pinterest) that drive sales and innovation for Target and Target's vendors. You'll manage multi-million dollar search budgets through planning, reporting and optimization.  You'll bring new search capabilities and enhancements to the Product Integration Manager and clearly articulate their role in driving performance. Identifying opportunities for automation within the toolsets in order to drive scale is critical and will require close partnerships with various search channel owners and marketing product teams. Leverage your strong analytical skills to manage and consume large amounts of data and synthesize into meaningful insights that improve search campaign efficiencies and maximize results for Target and Target's vendors.About you:
  • 4-year Degree in Advertising, Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related areas of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-7 years' experience in SEM/Paid Search and/or product feed-based advertising management and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills including campaign performance analysis and web analytics.
  • Advanced computer skills, including proven experience in Excel (including, but not limited to, pivot tables).
  • Solid understanding of testing, segmentation and reporting processes.
