The small team of experts (e.g., business designers, UX, product, engineers) leverages rapid testing and prototyping to test into and define the future of retail for Target. The Senior Analyst will drive discrete research and analytical initiatives to help define, evaluate, and test new concepts (e.g., products, experiences, software) that enable unique guest experiences and new revenue opportunities.   • Understand retail trends, competitors, and consumers to evaluate new concepts and businesses
  • Evaluate and analyze consumer, market, competitive, and financial data to develop actionable insights for business cases
  • Help build, analyze, and evaluate business models
  • Help identifying core problem/solution sets, articulate critical hypotheses, and develop success metrics to enable future testing
  • Be part of small, fast-moving, cross-functional project teams, working closely with testing leads, UX, researchers, designers, etc.
  • Create materials for the C-suite, board level presentations, and executive briefings as needed
Requirements
  • Fact-based and analytical problem-solving skills; critical and conceptual thinking, including ability to translate consumer research and observations into actionable opportunities 
  • Highly structured and organized thinker and executor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong digital acumen and interest in emerging retail trends and technology
  • 4-year college degree
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience after college, ideally with experience in research or data analytics
